Damage
in shipment:
Although we have carefully selected the best available
carrier, on rare occasions damage in transit can occur. In
such case please follow the following procedure:
Damage in transit is the responsibility
of the carrier, they are the liable
party. Since you are
the (final) recipient of the shipment, the freight
carrier expects you to
carefully inspect the shipment. If
there is damage, this is the moment to take action.
You are the only person who can make a claim and provide
the proper documentation.
1. Inspect your
shipment before the driver leaves.
2. If you suspect hidden
damage, open the box and check the
condition of the merchandise.
3. If you find damage, make a note
on the freight bill of the number of
damaged pieces and describe the nature of the damage.
